Light controller and different light settings
Can someone help me understand what the Light Controller does (Display>Environment>Show Light Controller). I move it around, even change its color in the Scene Properties but I don't see any changes when rendering. I want a light to point to the interior of a bag.
Also, what is the difference between these three settings in Scene?
Light
Light
Light Property

@pablo,
The Light Controllers are meant to adjust Lighting in the 3D window, not in Render. Please use Render > Render > Light Properties > Environment Map to adjust light settings in Render.
For the difference between Light, Light, Light Property, I'm not sure which options you are referring to. May I know the path for the options?
Thanks :)0 -
Here you go.

Please see image below :)
The last Light Property is the Light Properties setting in Render :)

Thanks. I hope we get more controls in the future for lighting. At least be able to use a accent type of lighting in V-Ray.

Dear Pablo, I will forward this request to our UX team. Meanwhile, please visit here. This website provides free HDRI images that you can use with Render in CLO.

Hello, good afternoon, CLO team, I am dedicated to the design of a wedding dress and I have been using the software and I still have not been able to get realism to my dresses, there are some settings (Lights)for garments with this type of white fabrics, I have been watching the help videos from the YOUTUBE channel but nothing has improved and even the photo that CLO saves when expanding is pixelated, I would also like to know how I can create this type of texture with relief and rhinestones, thank you in advance awaiting your prompt response.

Hi roxx0309,
To express the relief, you can apply the Displacement Map of the relief graphic to increase thickness and bumpiness of textures. Please see the Displacement Map application from Here.
To express the rhinestones, there are several methods:
If you have the rhinestones object from 3D modelling program or online store, you can...
1. To add the rhinestones obj as trim in CLO. After that, you can change the material type of the trim to Gem/ Glass/ Metal according to your needs.
2. To register the obj trim as Button in CLO. Please access HERE to see how to register an obj trim as a button.
Use the Button tool to add the rhinestones on the garment. Then, change the material types of button to Gem/ Glass/ Metal according to your needs.
---
If you don't have the rhinestones object, you can...
3. To create the rhinestones by 2D patterns in CLO. Place them on the garment and Freeze them. Then, change its fabric material types to Gem/ Glass/ Metal according to your needs.

Great explanation CLO Designers. At a practical level I'd say that adding these many stones as buttons will be a titanic job. Hopefully Roxx is ready for these many hours. =)

Hi pabloquintana.
If users need to handle a lot of rhinestones that locate randomly, we recommend the method - register the obj trim as Button & add the trims by Button tools. Users can also use Edit Button tool to modify the trims' position in both 2D and 3D windows and their properties.
To save time, users may try another method - to create the rhinestones graphic and add its sequin into CLO Topstitch texture. To see more details, please refer to the topic - Sequins as Topstitching in CLO Trim Guide.

@CLO Designers and @Pablo ,Hello I am super happy to receive y'll answer to my questions, here I show you a little of the work as it goes, the stones are giving me work, Pablo I think this project will give me more work, please write down on your list of future adjustments to place a library with basic rhinestones, I love the software but you have to make some adjustments for haute couture.
