Point of Measure vs. Total 3D Lenth?
Hi there,
I hope you guys can help me with this:
I can't find information about this thing called "Total 3D Lenth" and I wouldn't care so much about it if it wouldn't replace my Measurements in the tech-pack created via CLO-SET.
SO would be very thankful if someone could tell me:
1. what is it?
2. why this appears in the tech-pack instead of the POM
3. how can I change/avoid this?
-
A rounding up error > maybe change the tech pack measurement to reflect the decimal point limit or change the field to round up.

Sorry, I don't get it. Inner Sleeve length measures 42.23cm.
POM is created with 42.23cm - but the Property Editors says "Total 3D length" 33.2 cm.
The problem here is that the Tech-Pack via Clo-Set exports the "Total 3D length" measurements instead of the common POM 2D measurements. My pattern maker can't use the 3D measurements to set up a pattern.
hope s.o. can help me with this - I have no clue how to fix this.

Is 3D length the sewn length of that seam? Is there any sort of tension or elastic in the sewing of the seam that shortens it 25% in the garment as opposed to the flat pattern? The other possibility is 3D length is measuring, the distance while worn from end point to end point of the seam. In the case of a sleeve underarm, how much it's been pushed up wouldn't be of much interest.
