    Hi Kwing12,

Check out this tutorial video by one of our users on Youtube! Hopefully, that can get you started.

To summarize, the main steps are:

    1. Add the 2nd garment to your work space (make sure translation is set to 0,0,0). While the patterns are still selected and highlighted, move them out of the way in the 2D Window so nothing is overlapping.

    2. Select all of the pattern pieces that make up your bottom layer (this would be your shirt pattern) and right click > Freeze them.

    3. Select all the patterns of the top layer (the pants) and change their Layer in the Property Editor to "1". The pants will turn an orange color in the 3D Window.

    4. Turn on Simulation and let the pants move on top of the shirt.

    5. Select the shirt patterns again and right click > Unfreeze them (Simulation should still be on). The simulation should settle down and the shirt will be neatly inside the pants.

    6. Finally, select the pants patterns and change their Layer back to "0". Everything should be on layer 0 normally. Changing the layers is just an action that you take to change the way the garments are placed on the Avatar, but once they are settled, you don't need to have different layer properties anymore.

Let me know if you need further assistance!

Hi there, I did all those steps correctly and with normal simulation everything looks fine, but if I simulate in high-res the shirt underneath pops out through the pants fabric slowly. How can I fix this?

    Thank you.

Hi faltmann86. One solution is to leave Layering turned on

    Hi mariammchi.

When Turning on Layering you do not need to select the entire garment. You can instead just select the pieces you want to move. You can select just the body pieces of the shirt and move those pieces to Layer -1 OR you can select the skirt and more those to Layer 1.
