Express texture or pattern of the fabric.
Fabric Properties

Click a fabric in Fabric tab in Object Browser.
- Set the material properties in Property Editor.
Material Type
- Set the appropriate CLO Material Type.
Base Color
Color
- Set the color of the fabric.
Base Color Map

Click the Open button to apply the Base Color Map.
📝 Note: Through the option of User Setting, you can convert the color profile of the image to sRGB when loading textures.

Set the Recolor option as needed.
• Desaturate
Desaturate the entire Base Color Map to remove color and convert it into grayscale or black and white.
Easily and quickly switch the color of solid fabric to a new one without losing the accuracy of the chosen color.
• Color Switch
📝 Note: It is recommended to use the Texture Editor if the Base Color Map contains multiple colors, as it may not be switched properly. Please note that this Switch option is not synced with the Switch option in the Texture Editor.
Normal Map
Express uneven texture more realistically.
- When a texture is applied, Normal Map is generated by adjusting the Intensity.
- Or click the Open button to manually apply Normal Map image.
Displacement Map
Express thickness or bumpiness of fabrics or textures. You can find more detailed information here.
Opacity
Opacity

Adjust the Opacity value to apply transparency to the fabric overall.
Opacity Map
Adjust level of transparency using a grayscale image map.
- Set the mode to determine whether the map's alpha value is encoded in the RGB channel or the alpha channel.
- Click the Open button to apply Opacity Map.
Reflection
Roughness
- Set whether to adjust the Roughness with the intensity value or apply it as a specific map.
- Adjust the values to express fabric gloss.
- Check the Invert option to make the shiny parts becomes dull and vice versa when using the map.
Reflection
- Adjust the intensity value to express fabric reflection.
Metalness
- Adjust the value to apply metallics to the fabric overall.
- Or click the Open button to partially apply metallics using a grayscale image.
* The white parts of the map appear metallic.
📝Note:
• When working with Metalness Map, control Roughness Intensity and Reflection Intensity level that are suitable for the metallic texture. (e.g. Roughness Intensity 10, Reflection Intensity 90)
• For the non-metallic areas (matte), assign the same metalness map to Roughness Map, and turn on Invert.
📝Note: When clicking the Back/Side tab and turning off 'Use Same Material as Front' option, you can apply different materials to the back and side of the pattern and also you can set 'Use Same Color as Front' option.
