Rendering times are very long

Hi Guys. I have tried EVERYTHING to reduce my rendering times on our MACs without any luck.  I need help figuring this thing out as this is something that is affecting my workflow immensely right now.  Is it because we are using MAC and Clo works better in windows?  Do I need to get a better processor? I believe our MACs are pretty good, I am attaching a picture with the specs. In blender, for example, the same quality of imagery takes a 3rd of the time! Same computers.

Also when the machines finish rendering I have 4 extra images that are repeats...

  Hi JC, I can't answer about your computer spec.
  Try to lower the max render time, set the background to transparent, If you don't really need it, lower the quality of lights and materials too, I noticed from your screenshot that both are set to "very hight"
  Check out, in the render mode, the image setup. There you can choose how many images you want to render.

  Good advice Daniele. I would try the Cloud Rendering service in CLO-SET.com.

   

  I've taken that route to free up my computer when I'm ready for final renders.
