    Yes - when you import an object you have the option to import it as a cloth garment. Note when you do this there is also a trace UV option to 2D pattern > you need to ensure your object split lines and UV's are well defined relative to typical flat pattern shapes otherwise the tracing process can be fickle when dealing with complex sculptural compound or convex surfaces typically done in CG clay modelling > that don't flatten well.

     

    A consideration here  is always to take the view you have two options > the collision garment object with no patterns (where you can apply a custom physical preset to the 3D model) > or a derivative flat patterned newly developed object created from your 3D/UV model that might be less detailed (as you chop out sculptural fidelity). In the former there is no 2D patterns and in the latter tracing 2D patterns can be less than ideal for retaining a models sculptural form.  It's a mixed bag !

    In their sister software MD there is also an import as cloth (collision) garment > basically similar process except you also have low poly topography capability off any MD generated garment you create in the software or when exchanging CLO3D garments to MD.
