Knots fall through
Every single time I try to make a knot the two ribbons fall through each other.
When loose the knot looks like it will work, however when i pull the ends to tighten they clip/fall through each other and undo the knot. I can't figure out how to prevent this from happening I've tried the methods from these two videos (method 1 method 2) and nothing has worked...

Hey emixmh,
Sharing the link of a tutorial from our official YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xqq9LRTjJt4
Please refer to it. Hope this helps

There is a simple trick here > switch on edge curvature to the pattern piece so you get more edges in the mesh then lower the particle mesh density to something like 5mm. Basically the more vertices and edges the more collision or resistance to 'breaking through' the mesh - so that makes it easier to tie a knot without it all falling through. When you tie knots you want a higher polycount. Simple CLO3D physics.

Hello emixmh,as ottoline suggested the more geometry the less the mesh pass trough.
To set up correctly keep the add thickness collision value above 5, when everything is in place and stable you can lower that value step by step till the limit. If you want to have a look at the tutorial I made about making a double knot https://youtu.be/p-01-SzIS7A
