I'm looking into buying a new computer. Is this configuration compatible with CLO as there are some later versions then on the requirements page of CLO

Looks like a blast! Why would you doubt compatibility? I'm not completely sure how CLO works with RTX cards, but on their specs page they mention it.

    Thanks Pablo!

My files, not only for CLO, can get really huge... I'm not a hardware specialist, so I want to be sure before I make this investment .......

This is just a beast. But you need to clarify whether there will be support for a Quadro video card? I read somewhere that the Quadro is not supported. Check with support. May have to be replaced by 2080 ti

nathalie read this thread's 'comments section' >> and keep in mind the comment dates. But as Vad points out not all graphics cards are created equal where developers tend to be coding for specific technology a generation back. So as he wisely suggests 'err' on the side of caution and get in touch with CLO3D directly for confirmation on that choice of graphics card >performance comparison < with their latest softwear/driver updates.

Note both cards may be mentioned in the spec list they provide > BUT what you may want to investigate deeper is the 'performance comparison ' chart which CLO3D should have tested (you would hope) for simulation and rendering.  That is perhaps going to give you a better assessment on what card to opt for.

thanks ootoline, I contacted CLO and Jim from technical support answered:

"You have the latest CPU in the market and most powerful graphics cards in the world. I believe not only the CLO but other 2D / 3D operations will work very nicely"

    so it should work well
