"Additional Thickness - Collision" is it different now?
I noticed this a few weeks ago, but when you add more than like 5 mm of additional collision thickness to a pattern piece, the surface starts popping and constantly moving, it used to be that adding collision thickness would just create a smooth bubble around everything. I know this because I use additional collision thickness for creating a lot of different types of fabric effects, like putting in some padding without having to use pressure, or even a petticoat where I could set the collision way up to give the effect of volume but would still animate. I can't do any of that now, because the surface is just bubbling and popping.
Has anyone else noticed this change?? Because it definitely wasn't this way before.

Try setting your simulation to CPU best quality instead of GPU simulation.
