COLLADA file import failed
Hi,
Evety time I try to open COLLADA file downloaded from MIXIAMO, there is always pop-up warning saying the import failed.
I have tried to open different scales already, but even the one I succeeded last month, still seems to be failing.
I literally have no idea how to fix this situation.

Open the collada file in another software, to check that it is actually a good export, before trying to import it into CLO3D. - you need to check the fault is not with how you are exporting. Check the integrity of the models root file structure is up to date.

ottoline thank you for your comment. Yes, I did try to open with Blender, Unity, and on that software, the same file opened without an error. Also, I did check the integrity as you mentioned but still seems to be failing. Is there any other solution that you happen to know?

Pass the file onto CLO3D and get them to check it. I am assuming you are using a unique custom avatar character and not a hybrid CLO3D avatar.
If you have used a CLO3D avatar (exporting and importing), with an Mixiamo motion applied you need to appreciate that it needs to now be treated as a 'unique' custom avatar character. So you may need to recheck all the bone bindings, naming convention, insertion zero points, and swizzle orientation.

ottoline thank you so much for your kind help. I will send a few of COLLADA files for them to check.

Romoonie, did you ever find a solution for importing Collada files. I keep getting the same message.
