Issue Registering Hair

I've been trying to register hair and following tutorials, but I still always get this message. Anyone have tips?

  Hi kwoehr814, I had the same issue registering the puller.
  My problem was that my obj had two materials ( i made it in Blender)
  When I exported it in one material everything works fine.
  I hope this can help you solve your problem.
