Importing scanned jpg files to use as textures
hi, I am new to CLO and want to make a simple shirt but with a special texture, that I´ve previously scanned. How can I create a new texture from a jpg file?

Can you share the texture? There are several methods available.

Yes, sure.

You should convert this to a PBR texture. You can use Shader Map to do that.

Although a scanner can get you an image it's maybe better to use light from many angles as that will give you a better normal map on leather. Shadermap pro is my go-to tool along with pixaflux for production automation. You can use pixaflux to scatter the pattern tile which is a great feature of it's image and texture editing as you can put that workflow into a node graph. Shader map also has node graphs and LUA script so they are compatible tools that can actually bring more power to fabric texture scanning than many may realize - also has anti warp tools that speed fabric image correction in the blink of an eye.
