How do I get my fabric sowed like this?

I'm looking for the option to create sowing like in this image. With my renders, it's just straight up connected and flush. I'm looking for how I can make it so in the render it looks like it's curved inwards so there's a distinct edge and bump to the torso and the sleeve. same with the collar. see the image attached if I explained this poorly!

  Increase the fold angle and strength to get that effect.
