Seeking advice on GPU - RTX RT cores utilization?
Hello CLO community,
I'm planning an upgrade for my main workstation and looking for observations and/or recommendations on the GTX vs RTX GPUs capabilities in rendering. My question; is CLO able to utilize the RT cores in an RTX and if so - would the use of one RTX 2080ti give better (mostly meaning faster) results than two GTX 1080ti?
(side info; running a Ryzen 9 3900x and a DDR4 3200 16 GB (looking to 32 GB after upgrade) on an MSI MEG x570 Ace)
Thanks in advance!

CLO does not use RT cores. It also does not use the Tensor cores.
Currently, CLO utilizes CUDA cores for the final-rendering and the fast-simulation. The RT core is literally for Real-Time Ray-Tracing, which is currently in the CLO development plan, but it's hard to tell the specific schedule and details.
Generally speaking, it is based on the latest architecture, and GPUs with more CUDA cores show faster rendering performance. You can see an almost linear increase in performance.
