Creating Sherpa look
I am trying to create a Sherpa look to my fabric---and followed the recent Clo manual on doing this---but when I try to render it eiter does not apply or my render window turns white and I have to close out and reopen the program. Any advice?

Hi kwoehr814. Are you talking about the Interactive Render or the Final Render button?

If it is the Final Render, make sure you don't have a custom view.

Hello! I am in interactive render mode and do not have custom views selected.
If I remove the fur profile from the fabric---the render shows up in the interactive window. It seems it does not like it when I turn the fur on.

Can you try to do a final render and see if it shows up? Are you using a powerful enough computer? When you render hair in other 3D programs, the prep time before you can see a render is somewhat long, as the calculations to create all the strands is intensive.
Can you check that? What are your computer specs?

Okay I was able to figure it out. Originally (before 5.1 was released with Sherpa presets) I had "fur render only) selected from fabric drop down tab to try to work on getting Sherpa look. I tried this many times with no success. Now that 5.1 has Sherpa preset---I was selecting it from the drop down but still had "fur render only" selected. So I think this confused the program. I switched it back to fabric matte with Sherpa pre-set selected and it showed up in my simulation window and render window with nice looking results :).
