Render window
Why is the image showing black in the render window ?

Hi. It is hard to know with no visuals. It could be that you have not Activated the Render window (Play button in the upper right corner when you go to the Render Engine). Or it could be that there is no Light in the scene and you need to add a Dome light or other lighting source
If the above does not help please add images for further assistance
