With the Edit Pattern tool, Right Click on the line. Choose "Offset as Internal line for internal segment, or "Offset as Pattern Outline" for it added outside of the pattern.

Never mind, I figured it out, I had it positioned on the wrong center intersection. Once I fixed that it worked!Chelsea
