Issues with creating an OBJ is Clo3d
Hi Clo3ns!
I have so many questions and have been trying to find the answer online with no luck. I am creating a simple O ring in Clo3d to export as an OBJ (I know there is an O ring already available but I don't like it). I don't want to use another software for this as it's simple. My problem is that I have a few issues with how it looks, I have these horrid creases in the internal which are really bothering me. When I give the item texture its looks even worse. Can anyone suggest how to get rid of this? The item is very small 3.5 cm, but so are most metal trims.
I've been playing around for ages, trying to solidify the item, turned the Particle distance to 1, and even looked at the item in render. Help!

Hello Alexloz,
Convert the points to curved points (right click on a point and convert to curve). If you have a lot of curved points right click on an edge and opitimize curved points to reduce the number of curved points. You can also change the mesh from triangle to quad (it is under miscellaneous at the bottom in the Property editor).
