See Through Print - Possible?

So I am working on a Magma inspired Avatar, and I was trying to figure out a way to make it look like she's creating fire or something like that.

My initial thought and test was to create a fire repeat in photoshop, save as png, then attach the fire print to the fabric in hopes that it would just look like floating fire, not fire on fabric. That did not work... Any thoughts?

  OMG, figured it out. 

  I have to make the fabric Opaque!

  Hello themitchellperry! Yes, you need to make the fabric opaque if you add your PNG as a graphic or, alternatively, add your PNG as a texture of the fabric itself. Good luck. Kindest regards, CLO
