Exporting PLT file with pattern annotations in other languages

I need to export my pattern pieces with pattern annotations to a plt (or a dxf) file, the annotations are in Chinese, and they don't seem to show up when I export it. They only show up when the annotations are in English or numbers. Am I missing something, or is there a solution to this?

  There is only one other incidence known that might be related, but we aren't sure about it. Generally, it doesn't appear to happen and is therefore unlikely to be a bug.
