Painted and folded edge - bags

Hi

 

I am a bag designer and I would like to know how I can achieve a folded edge or a painted edge on a bag. 

Below is a CLO example I have seen online demonstrating a painted edge with a contrast color -  I reached out to ask how I could achieve it but the answer was very vague. 

 

I would also like to know how I can get the below folded edge finish?

  Every piece of fabric can have a different Side color/texture. For double sided you can use the Double Sided option in the pattern piece properties. Check it out:

  hi,

   

  Thank you for your reply. How did you get the pieces so thick? 

   

  I am having real issues with trying to make my fabrics thick, therefore the double sided feature is not visible. 

   

  Please help. Thanks

  First make sure you are Thick Textured View (Alt+1 on the PC or Option+1 if mac) and them every fabric has a default thickness, so you should see thickness immediately. Next, you can add thickness if you click the piece and go to the properties editor to the right. It is called Add'l Thickness Rendering.
