How to add Facing to a faux zipper pocket?

I want to create a faux zipper pocket by putting a piece of facing underneath.
I created a rectangle that is slightly larger than the zipper cutout window. The extra piece is the same size as the internal line around the cutout. I sew them together with superimpose (underneath). Theoretically, it should work. However, it turned out to be a disaster after stimulation.

Did I miss anything?

  Hi hanachiang It seam to from the last picture that the up part of the facing is sewed to the bottom one.
  Check the sewing line in the 3d viewport.

  I tried to replicate it and placing the pacing with superinpose under option the first simultion gave me the same problem.

  It was caused from the inverted sewing line even if in the 2d they looked correct.

  I redo them and it worked.

  I agree with Daniele. Somehow the stitches are reversed.
