How to smooth triangles?
Hi, I've simulated garment at 0.8 particle distance, but when I render it in Keyshot - triangles are visible, so object doesn't look smooth. I have smoothed avatar, but it didn't help, either.
Only thing that helped was to Retopology in Maya and then subdivide in Zbrush, but it looses details and thickness. How can I properly smooth garment, without loosing details?

Why such a sacrifice? Enough 3 for a good view. You apparently exported clothes in OBJ format. Try fbx it keeps smoothing. Or specify smoothing groups in an external 3D editor.

Hi Vad,
Thanks for your reply!
I've tried using fbx format, but triangles are still visible. Which external 3D editor do you recommend for smoothing groups? I also tried 'Subdivision Surface' in Cinema 4d, but after that polygons are even more visible.
Here is the screenshot in Keyshot:

Unfortunately, с4d does not have regular tools for editing normals.
There are many solutions.
1. Can make remesh
2. You can smooth the normals in another editor or use external plugins.
3. You can use another render which can do smooth the geometry.. (redshift, arnold, octane and others)
In any case, this is not a clо problem. This is a render problem.0
