Hello Cookiepie. The export and import of OBJ or other formats is not plug-and-play most of the times. You need to understand what are you doing. When you exported from CLO, did you select to export the textures? Did you created the necessary materials in Blender and made sure the textures are added to the materials?

Please let us know what level of knowledge you have about these things so we can be of better and more specific help.

This can be a good starting point:

I know exactly what I'm doing. I've used similar programs before. I have made nearly a dozen items, all featuring mesh panels, prior to making the dress pictured in the above post. The 12 items all exported with the proper textures and color.

Here is an example of one of the items I made.

The mesh portion shows up black in blender just as it did in CLO3D. For some reason, when I made this dress, the mesh panel renders as white in blender. I tried creating a few additional items featuring mesh panels after I discovered the error, but none have exported properly. I concluded there must be a technical reason for the error ( I haven't changed the version of blender I've been using or any settings in CLO3D). I made this dress using the same procedures used when I made the 12 previous items that exported properly, so I don't understand why the changed occurred. I want to ascertain the cause of the sudden error and find an adequate remedy as I already understand how to properly export OBJs.

I figured out what was causing the error. My zfab fabric files were corrupted. I haven't determined how the file folder became corrupted, but I was able to delete and replace my materials folder. So far, my zfab files are opening with the proper classifications and presets.
