Cycling Cap

Hi, I'm making a cycling cap and almost have it right, except I can't get the brim of the cap to lay how I'd like. It's a 2 sided brim so there's two pieces (an under and an upper) so when you flip it up it's one design but when you wear it down it's another. 

Does anyone have any tips on getting the brim to stiffen up? I tried solidifying them but they wouldn't lay correctly.

  Lauren, the Physical Properties you see below are the settings of a very stiff fabric that I use for bags. I suggest you create one fabric with those characteristics. Freeze the rest of the cap and apply this fabric to the brim. Then, simulate. You can try strengthening too. Once you are happy, you could freeze the brim and unfreeze the rest.

   

  

  As to have two colors, make the brim piece very thick and select Double Sided to make it look like a sandwiched piece of fabric and then Uncheck the "Use Same Material as Front" and configure to have a different look.
