Stitchlines
When I sew the seams in the 2d window it does not show stitch lines in the 3d window ? Is this due to a setting being incorrect ?

Hi mmu3D. There could be several reasons.
One of them is that you have Simulation on. You need to turn it off to see the stitches. Another possibility is that your stitches are set to be on the back of the piece and you are seeing the front, or viceversa.
Toggle this setting in the Topstitch property window:
