Rib Collar

    @dyrholm,

    First of all, may I know the particle distance you are using for the collar pattern?

    You can make the collar more elastic by adjusting the fabric's material properties, especially Stretch-Weft, Warp, and Shear.

    Please take a look at below articles:

    The particle distance is 5.

    I have tried to adjust stretch-weft, warp and shear, but nothing is happening. if I try to adjust all the different settings, it helps a little bit.

    But the fold line is still quite wrinkled, and doesn't look smooth.

    Hey Erica,

    I am having the same issue. It seams making a good looking rib collar is very difficult.

    Also it seems there is no tutorial on this particular issue.

    I have tried playing around with the "elastic" option applied to a single segment (the edges of the ribs) but it does not help because for some weird reason going above 100 in the ratio input does not translate into having a longer 3d line. it shrinks if anything....

    Any advise would help since I have spent plenty of time already looking into different options and it is now becoming frustrating.

    Thanks a lot

    THeo

    For a polo collar, use a fabric that stretches along the weft thread and does not stretch along the warp thread

    You can try with the Shrinkage option in the weft.
