Sketching new designs
Hello!
How can I sketch new designs directly on the Avatar and automatically generate pattern pieces? Please help! I can´t find a clear tutorial about it but i know that it can be done because of this advertising (see picture)

Hi,
You can definitely extract patterns from any Avatar. The function is called Flattening, and these are the tools you'll use (they are located in the 3D Toolbar):
The middle one will let you draw on the dividing lines. Click anywhere on the Avatar to start and then click to create segments. If you want to create a Curve Point, hold down CTRL (or CMD on Mac) while clicking. Double-click to end. The left-most tool will let you edit your lines once you finish drawing them. Once you have your shapes drawn on the Avatar, use the right-most tool to select all the shapes and hit Enter on your keyboard to generate the patterns.
