Please click within a Pattern.
Everytime i try to change anything within my garned "Please click within a Pattern." pops up and i cant find a solution to it.
Does someone know how to fix it?

It usually means you're trying to create or copy something outside a pattern outline. E.g. if it's an internal line, it has to be unambiguously associated with a pattern, so initially place it completely inside the boundary. After that, it's possible to move a line such that it's completely outside the pattern, or hanging off. So if that's what you want, do it as a two step process.
