Quick pasting internal line lenght

Hey, below i made a quick sketch of a process i repeat across many projects, is there a way to optimize it in any way? Like for example link the length in any other way than copy pasting the value. This process is really boring, takes alot of time and kills motivation. Any kind of help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

  Hi. You may find it faster to use the Rectangle Tool. Once you switch from Polygon to Rectangle you can Left click in the 2D space and just put in the measurements for the pattern piece you wish to create. This would combine steps 2-4 into just one step.
