Why does the fabric keep colliding when the seams are turned

This happens when there are multiple internal lines close together, or when I have layered over (or under). Changing the collision thickness does not fix it. Also, seems to happen stronger with certain fabrics.

  • In the first video; is this two piece sewn together or one piece folded?
  • In the second video; First of all, this looks really nice! Is this an actual sewn tie or is this made up of pieces?

  First video - They are two pieces sewn together with the layer function

  Hi mkim18.

  For your first video There are a few things you can try.

  -Change the Sewing Line Type from Custom Angle to Turned

  -If the piece is small you can decrease the particle distance. 

  Video two.

  -Reduce Additional Thickness Collision.

  -Decrease Particle Distance

  -Change Mesh type from Triangle to Quad
