unlinking internal lines
hello I am trying to edit a graphic I have selected the lines that I want unlinked and attempted to remove linked editing but the option to unlink them doesn't show up, in fact it asks me if I would like to make it a symmetrical linked pattern instead, pls help thank you

First, it looks like what you are talking about is not a graphic using the Add Graphic tool, but instead an actual pattern piece. A Pattern edge cannot have a Segment Point Unlinked since a pattern must be a closed shape. But you can Unlink Internal Lines (Red Line) By R-Clicking on the Point with the Edit Pattern Tool and selecting Divide Internal Point.
For reference the tool you are currently on in your 2D window is the Transform Pattern Tool (which selects entire Pattern pieces) You will need to switch to the Edit Pattern Tool (which allows you to select Individual Segments and Segment Points)
