Grading dart issue

Hello team and everyone

In a process to grade a skirt : I am trying to grade a dart (created via add dart) - it consists here in moving all points for a value of 0.5 cm. Somehow on one piece when I apply a change on the bottom left point for example then the bottom point moves as well ( which is not expected) and I am not able to define properly how to move the point of the right - values appear in red and changes are not working

Plus, it worked on the dart of the back of the skirt - including the dart cap. I am a little lost on what to do

  What's happening at the bottom of the dart is correct, it looks to me like you need to fix the grade on the waist edge and side of the skirt.  Look at the back skirt, each segment of the waist has the 0.5 cm grade toward the side seam.  Check the grade on each waist segment, the side edge, and the point at the top of the dart legs.

  Thank you so much jne4sl! I started the grading on the waist edge and side of the skirt as you suggest and then only on the dart and it came in order

  Hi everyone - I am still working on the grading of a skirt with darts and I am facing a new challenge. The base size is 38, when I try to simulate smaller sizes 34 and 36, I get the error message "Pattern outlines and holes are intersecting", it works for bigger size.

  I can see a work around on starting with 34 as base size but I am not really comfortable to move from 34 to 44 or 46. The other one would be to build two bases and two series of size but that is double work.

  Are there any tips that people used or a rule I missed ?
