How do I make a toe allowance for a boot pattern?
Greetings,
I am using the Avatar 3D pen to make a simple boot pattern, but I need to have the toe portion come out at least half an inch in front of the toes. Can anyone tell me how to achieve that without breaking up the toe section? Right now if I flatten out the pattern, it wraps flush around the toes. If I draw a line in front of the toes, it breaks the toe section in two (top and bottom).

Hi scarecrow76
The CLO avatars are not really designed to have shoes drawn onto them (and the avatar pen tool can only draw on the avatar, not away from it)
For shoes I would recommend looking for a 3D shoe last to draw onto. But for pattern pieces that need to go past the avatar like a shoe sole you will either need to use the Polygon tool in 2D or edit the pattern after flatten to enlarge it to the proper size
