Colorways with Substance Materials dont save
Hi there, maybe someone knows the trick...
we have massiv problems of not beeing able to trust the substance integration. First of all in copying Colorways CLO forgets the filepath of Substance Material and renders white or non visible or/and saving white default. Even when you drag and drop and configure every colorway manually its sometimes works only partially or not at all or it works. This is a massive time killer for us.
Its cool to have the Substance integration but it doesnt seem to work good yet. This is in Mac and PC. Also it seems to slow down even the 32core pc totally, but that might be another problem we or clo is having.
How to cope with Substance Materials in a way which doesnt take forever??

We have the same issues regarding the Substance integration. Also when exporting to third party software (3ds max) all mappings are lost.
And also the performance issues with some sbsars are huge.

Hello CLO Designers ! Thank you very much! This is highly appreciated if that could be fixed as it makes it very hard to work together with the performance issue where the pc is frequently going into "non response state circle" only when changing tools. Takes several minutes to do simple things.
Unfortunately we have another difficulty with a clo based avatar, where we changed some measures. Eyes, ears, axelpits "eat" the fabric at PD 3 and its takes so much time to repair it on and on. Also the mesh of the avatar shows and we have to import the obj version, divide the mesh etc. Is there something we can do?
Very thankful for some solution also for the avatar problem!

Hello CLO Designers - we give up with Clo 6. Its full of bugs and make it impossible to work with it for us. we have been losing so much time, redoing things which clo6 is forgetting again. Now its not showing anymore inside substance fabrics on rendering, crushing frequently on macbookpro late 2019, huge issues with performance on 32core pc.
Like this we dont make it with clo6, despite the big effort we did. We are very disappointed as the "flawless" worklow you are advertising is not working for us, in contrary. We have to go back to 5.2 and redo a big part but at least we can trust its there on reopening the files.
Hope an solving update will come soon.

I wanted to recommend lowering the resolution to 512 when composing the colorwave. But we get an error when rendering.

Hi vadsura, thank you for the feedback. We need, however to have highest resolution.
CLO Designers We are still having huge issus with the integration of Substance, which itself is a great leap forwards. But working with it is difficult, as it despite the upgrade is keeping forgetting the file path in the colorways. Even when applying manually to each colorway and saving it, on reopen happens the same thing. Also issues with rendering blank etc.
Is there a fix in the pipleline?

Hello CLO Designers, thank you for your reply! We have many more details regarding the integration. We are looking forward to a solution in the near future as we are having many issues around the substance integration. But once the results go through they are great!
Another problem we are facing is that the renders are getting stuck and not building up. We dont really know why. Sometimes frequents restarts of rendering make it go, sometimes restarting the pc. Sometimes like now, its not coming at all and gets stuck with a "compiling kernel" message... or " building static raycast..."
I have reinstalled the driver for the nvidia rtx3080 etc.
Would be great if somebody would know a fix for this?!
Is there an instruction which values to choose in the nvidia contorlpanel for the rtx3080 gpu?
Any advice appreciated!

Dear all,
I have the same problem with Substance fabrics. The I get transparent garments and no matter what I move in the Property Editor, there's no way the fabric will show through.
Any solution?
