I noticed my toolbar only has the option to toggle between the edit/curvature/edit curve point tool. Is there any way to get them all in the display bar?

no. you need to set your zoom to Middle mouse button and your Pan to Left Mouse Button + Alt - for Mac users this means the Options key.
