With the Edit Pattern tool, Right Click on the line. Choose "Offset as Internal line for internal segment, or "Offset as Pattern Outline" for it added outside of the pattern.

Thanks Erica, This is helpful for Illustrator, but I am still not able to see notches in Gerber Accumark. I tried AAMA and ASTM.
