Check the x,y,z orientation (Swizzle) for the model that you made in other software, you have the option on export (from your previous software) and on import of new models to change the axis of rotation it is likely that your model has one of these values flipped in the opposite direction. eg: z axis up.

    Thank you ottoline,

Now it's on the leg but invisible.

I can select it so it mark the shoe in yellow but invisible.

    Do you know why?

Creating shoe assets is a process where you may need to check your mesh geometry and the >> collision << surface that is placed over the shoes. If you don't assign the shoes collision surface correctly the shoe itself gets assigned as the invisible surface - and is switched off. So on a complex shoe design you need to be careful, as the process of creating shoes can throw up a problem with what surface get assigned as that collision surface - and in your case that is what has happened the shoe you want to actually see as surfaces has now been assigned as the invisible collision surface over the shoe. What you may need to do is be careful with the grouped elements in the shoe > eg: the shoe, the heel , the straps etc.

Often on shoes I actually create a simplified collision surface that is offset over the boot and assign that during the process, in CLO3D the software self generates an offset surface as part of the process but on complex objects that can go awry.

My recommendation would be to try the process again and pay specific attention to what surface you assign as the shoe, heel, and collision surface.

All shoes have an invisible offset collision surface placed over them to prevent cloth garments from sticking to the shoe object, this is there so cloth glides over the shoe accessory if you simulate or animate your avatar. On one of the male avatars there is also an invisible collision surface over the ears to prevent hats from catching on the ears.

Hope that helps you - as that is what you now need to look for to rectify that aspect of the import fault.

This post addresses the opacity issue. https://support.clo3d.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4406796425241-FBX-Import-Issues. You can solve it by double-clicking the Avatar and sliding the opacity down to 0 and back up to 110.
