    Hi There,

    Currently CLO does not offer training for Individual License holders. But we do have a Youtube channel with an entire Beginners Guide series HERE that many people have used to learn CLO. 

    There are also lots of videos which cover what you mentioned above. I have linked a few for you to take a look at.

    1- Establish avatars with real sizes - But are CLO avatars do already come with a full library of ASTM sizes to choose from as well

    2- Design complex garment such as sports winter jacket - The beginner series will teach the skills needed to start projects

    3- Simulation - Simulation can be turned on at any time to adjust the drape as you sew pattern pieces together

    4- Teck-pack including grading XS, S, M, L, XL - Tech packs can be generated from CLO-set. You can see a start video HERE. CLO-set is a free digital cloud service, but please not that Tech Packs can only be generated in the advanced version which is paid for monthly.

    5- Animation 

    6- POM - POM need to be added manually. Since people have their own standards for how they measure the garments

    Performance sports wear can fall into complex compression type single weave garments, which can be very different in terms of garment design and development, so you maybe need to be specific regarding CLO3D's use in certain product categories. If you are talking about 'pattern made' and sewn garments then CLO3D is certainly a good way to go, but for performance wear where single weave construction is used you may need to think about other the approach's in conjunction with virtual prototyping.


    In sports wear the avatar/human fit model to garment block (under a range of strain and stress) can be a more complex set of factors than your typical loose fitting dress or pants - So, ... in these types of product categories where 'garment performance' (eg: stretch wear) on the body is required you do have to have very specialized knowledge, as basic pattern making is unlikely to cover the complexities of how to establish a good set of block's to test with real models. As you shift more into these compression type sports constructions the pressure comes on getting the unfolded pattern shape correct, and that is part from experience and also computing approach. There is no one compute solution that overcomes real world experience in terms of testing certain types of performance sports wear, and under garments. So you do need to be very clear on the scope of your expectations on how CLO3D can be used in certain garment categories in sports wear.


    I also have a product design/engineering background with ergonomics, and when you combine performance sports wear and pattern making you are probably pushing the bounds on what CAD can do in terms of compute simulation and feedback on a rigid avatar shape. Experience and testing will always be a big part of performance sports wear as opposed to more traditional tailoring of loose fitting clothing.
