Difference in topstitch when rendering on CPU or GPU
Hi all,
Do any of you encountered a difference in how topstitching appears in a rendered image while rendering on CPU or GPU?
Left is the rendered image using the GPU, which makes the topstitching transparent; right is the rendered image using the CPU, here it looks like it should.
Although I'm very happy with the speed of rendering on CPU (I've used a mac until a month ago, so you can understand why I'm happy), the speed of rendering on GPU is double or triple that of the CPU. But I don't like that it changes the look of certain things.
Is there something I've missed that I should change in settings or similar?
Many thanks!

Don't know if this is a one thing off, since I've just made a new set of renders of a different shirt but here the topstitching shows up as is should be while rendering on the GPU.

In > User settings > Graphics > there is a function for the use of VBO's you can toggle that on and off. Give that a try.

ottoline Toggling the use of VBO's doesn't make a difference, so I guess it's somewhere in the property of the topstitches.
Thanks for the reply!

ottoline I've checked the properties of the topstitch with those used in a similar garment and there are no differences. Only differences are the used render engines.
Are there maybe settings when using the GPU or to improve the performance better of the GPU that I need to change? I've started using CLO on a mac so the speed difference with a Windows + NVIDIA GPU already had me surprised, but I didn't change any settings/preferences.
