Clo3D to TikTok Effect House Workflow — UVs not working?
Hi Clo3D community,
I am working on an AR clothing filter. I have recreated the garment and it looks great in Clo, and the mesh exports nicely to Effect House. But for some reason, the UVs do not map correctly to the 3D mesh in Effect House. Does anybody know why this would be happening? They are all sized to fit within the UV 0-1 tile. Am I missing a step?
Any help would be seriously appreciated! I am stuck on this last hurdle. Attaching images below. If you can thinking of anything I should try please let me know. I have tried exporting to different file formats, etc. and I'm at a loss.
Thank you!
Erik

It does not look like you currently have an active CLO 3D subscription. Can you please let us know what your active CLO ID may be under?

Hi US Designer Support — My Clo3D subscription is linked to my college account, which I'm commenting from here. Anyway, I think the problem is that I am resizing the mesh in Blender before putting it in Effect House and trying to use the UVs from the original Clo file. But when I try to upload the un-resized FBX directly from Clo, the mesh turns black when I activate the UV map. See attached photo. Do you know why this would be happening? When I use the UV Control to rotate the UV map, I do see some change in color but I don't see anything recognizable from the UV map so I can't adjust it accordingly. I would be really grateful if you can help!

Hi and thank you
As the issue looks to be a Bender and not CLO problem ther is not too much we can do. But we do recommend taking alook at a few non CLO tutorials that talk about going from CLO to Blender that you may find helpful

You may also want to look into LiveSync for UE instead as this is a direct plugin for CLO to UE
