modular mode and darts
Hi, is it possible to sew the darted line to the modular element? I can not get it to work. Is there a trick?

Hi Jcichello. When sewing multiple sections to one on the lines in modular mode you need to first select the box outline using free sewing then hold shift to select multiple lines of the pattern piece that are on either side of the dart. Please try this and if you have any further questions let us know. Thank you!

This would be good to know, as I also am unable to find a solution to this.
M:N Segment sewing and M:N Free sewing both do not work.
Does this mean that all possibilities of creating our own custom blocks are restrained to conventional garment shapes without darts?

Thank you for your reply, I can confirm that this resolved the issue :)
May the team please update the manual to reflect this? I had seen other instances of people asking similar questions, and a quick update to the manual to include the "shift" trick will be sufficient.

Hi - I'd like to clarify the instructions above - what is "the box outline"? Does this mean the single facing line on the modular block or something else? Is the Shift control different for a Mac - I can't get the above solution to work. Thank you

Hi this video didn't address the issue - which is how to you sew pattern lines with darts to the the modular block. In case anyone else wants to know;
Select the free sewing tool and select the the modular block outline that you want to sew the pattern to - click at the start point and the end point. Press and hold 'shift" and click on the first point of the pattern outline and down to the first bottom point of the dart, click that point, move across to the other point at the bottom of the dart and click and move down to the final point of the pattern edge - click the final point. The pattern should now be sewn to the modular block with the dart included in the sewing.
