How do I create a tipping on a collar?

Maggie, where exactly do you need help in the process? The pattern making, the construction, simulation, texturing, etc.

Have you tried making a collar for a shirt already in CLO? It is difficult to assist without clearly understanding where the problem is, instead of trying to figure out what have you tried several times and failed.

I’m trying to create tipping like a Fred Perry polo. I have made up the construction etc. In the factory this process would be weaved into the knitted rib of the collar but I am unsure how to add the 2 row of contrast tipping.
thank you Any help would be Appreciated

Maggie, the two rows of contrast in the collar are simply a texture applied on top of the fabric. CLO doesn't need to construct the weaving of the fabric. I suggest you go over the basic tutorial available here:

Hi Pablo, thanks I have gone through the tutorials twice but thanks - I have managed to create them as topstitch - Thanks for your help though

I'm not sure what you are creating exactly, but you should learn how to use textures to add what I think is that you are doing. Topstitches have a different purpose. With textures you'll have more freedom.

This must be done with textures. Textures are easiest to create (for me personally) in the Substance designer.

Vad, looks sick! (besides what ottoline is pointing out). I really need to get my Substance Designer skills improved and stop depending on Susbtance Source.
