How to add an obj file and keep their texture?:(
Thanks~

Thea, you will need to split the OBJ in an 3D software to separate the leaves, the base, the dirt, etc. Everything that has a different texture.
CLO doesn't allow to have one single OBJ with more than one texture. After that you'll have the import the different pieces and then apply the individual textures.

In CLO3D you can definately have more than one object with a texture. It's all down to how you assign your UV and texture maps to the model and then how you export that. Most times you don't need to alter anything - you just need to search in the scene root tree to pick the right mesh grouping item.
In fact this is how the CLO3D avatar base mesh is constructed. It has a > mesh ID group < with sub groups < within the UV assigned to those mesh islands for the torso, head, arms and legs, eyeballs and mouth. And you can select these all from the 3D window or in the scene editor. You need to select the mesh group in the UV and then assign the matching texture map for that selected mesh in the 3D window (see yellow selection below in 2nd image) and then assign those missing texture maps in the property editor.
If your model does not have the image maps assigned it may be due to the export process you use so check your original model. Most architectural model props are well packed and this is a very, very simple exercise. (5-10 minutes at most). In that instance you need to re-assign the UV and textures to those correct mesh polygons. So it's no more complex than usually selecting the mesh polygroup from the scene editor and then loading the UV map.
Locate, select your plant model mesh and their respective texture maps. Most architectural model products name their assets so you can understand what texture gets place where. See how I place over 20 separate mesh surfaces within one plant model set and assign each texture from within CLO3D. Some are tiles maps others are UV maps. See how they can all work - no problem. This is similar to how the CLO3D runway scene sets are made.
When this plant set is unpacked I load the model into CLO3D > go to the scene root > find the plant model > and select the mesh item polygon assigned to the plant (can do this in the 3D window) then I set the correct texture map to that item.
Here there are 47 texture maps I need to re-assign. Here I keep the realtime render mode on in vray so I can see how it looks as I work.
No problem.

I stand corrected. I tried this in the past and I wasn't able to change different texture on a single Mesh. Apparently I did it wrong in the past or now the software allows it.
