Hi! Unfortunately, we do not support standard dxf files exported from AutoCad.

In terms of dxf files, we only support dxf-aama and astm. Please refer to compatible file list from the link below.

I know a work-around to open a standard DXF by using Adobe Illustrator to create a PDF version.

    1. Open the standard DXF in Adobe Illustrator.

    2. **Check outlines to make sure there are no overlapping points and that all pattern segments are closed shapes. CLO won't import a pattern that has overlapping points and if the shape is not closed it will also have issues being read as a pattern. The pattern shapes should be outlines only (not filled shapes)

    3. Save pattern in Illustrator as a PDF - File>Save As>PDF

    4. Open in CLO using File>Import>Adobe (AI/PDF)

    Hope this helps!

As far as I remember, the very workaround with exporting dfx to pdf via Illustrator works at its best yet there are still issues occurring with the proper recognition. There's no fix for that yet, as long Illustrator isn't optimized well for purpose of processing dfx, but it's still possible to fix the issues manually with the very pdf editing tool you have, like this one https://pump-it-up-job-form.pdffiller.com/ If you have Adobe Acrobat as well as Illustrator then it would be a better solution to you but I find this application more relatable to its price
