CLO API Help - Import texture
Hello. I'm currently working on creating the plugin which will significantly speed up my workflow. I need a function or method that will replace the existing Fabric Base texture with the one I targeted with that plugin. I haven't found any appropriate command in the API_IMPORT , API_FABRIC sections of the API documentation. So I wonder, is there any way to change the Fabric base texture without loading .sbs files or manipulating .zfab externally. Because I could see only these solutions.
So the pipeline I can see now:
1. A user chooses a folder with textures to replace.
2. If texture name = fabric name then export .zfab
3. open .zfab; copy .json internals from it and replace the basecolor texture path
4. import .json or .zfab
5. re-apply fabric to a piece of garment and delete the old fabric.
But this pipeline will cause dramatic lag because I'll have to manipulate from 4 to 10 fabrics at once. So I looking for another solution.
Thanks in advance

We cannot really assist with Python script for Individual users beyond referring to this website: https://developer.clo3d.com/ But beyond that myself and other CLO designers will not be able to help. You could try reaching out directly through the Contact Us page. Our tech team may be able to answer some questions, but I'm not 100% sure.

Thank you for the answer.
But the funny thing is that the Support Team sent me to search for the answers here.

Hi. So we found what we believe to be your ticket. Although it came from a different ID. We recommend making sure to stay with one ID at all times. As this ID does not actually have a subscription.
As our technical stated we cannot provide support for Individual Users beyond the website you were linked to. API support is only provided for for Enterprise level.
You are correct that they did mention to post here as it is possible that another user may assist, but the CLO 3D team cannot assist further. You may also want to look at posting to forums which relate more to API.

Thank you for the response.
Yes that was my ticket.
We recommend making sure to stay with one ID at all times. As this ID does not actually have a subscription
But how do you expect me to post here or ask for help if my real ID doesn't allow me to do so? I sent you a video, deleted cookies, changed 3 devices, browsers, VPN+/-, etc. Creating a new account was the only option I didn't try.
API support is only provided for for Enterprise level.
This formulation itself gives rise to a number of contradictions. In this case, why is the API section open at all? Why does a person with the Individual plan need a built-in python editor? Why do the test projects provided in your own SDK not compile to MSVS and produce errors? I did not ask you to help with solving my specific problems, because myself have sufficient knowledge and skills. I just asked if there was any command that would help manipulate (import/load) the fabric texture inside CLO. And you answered "No, ask for help there". And now you say me literally: "Look for some forums which related to API".
Perfect.

HI
There was a problem with our website when you were trying to post originally. That issue was corrected.
You can of course post here. We were unaware of your earlier message to our Tech team which is why we did recommend you reach out to them. But unfortunately we cannot assist further with API. But we can hope that another CLO power user who is familiar with API may be able to assist. We only suggested API forums as not many individuals use API and you may find more users who can assist by asking on additional forums.
Thank you
