Stitch line sewing 1" away from fabric when simulated
You can still see the stitch line when simulated but the fabric is moving, I tried changing particle distance, restarting the programme and changing the simulation properties but nothing changes, I am extremely confused.

Hi mialongden
This could be a variety of things. Likely it is that there is a large amount of collision applied to the pattern pieces. But also you should change your fabric view in the 3D Vertical Toggle menu from Textures Surface to Thick Textured Surface.
We also recommend as it looks like you are on an FIT user ID to speak with your FIT instructors

Hi,
I tried this and it is still not properly sewing, my instructor and I are pretty confused, however, she has not had chance to properly look in depth which is why I asked here in the meantime.

Hi mialongden
They are sewn and simulating properly. They cannot attach any closer because you have significant thickness to the pattern pieces.
Click on your pattern piece and then go to the Property Editor > Scroll to Simulation properties and look at both Thickness Collision and Thickness rendering

Also, a quick tip. Do not save CLO project file sin the CLO default CLO library folders. It looks like you have a dress saved in the Garment folder where the Tee is.
You should always save CLO projects to a folder on your desktop and then link that folder into CLO for access. Otherwise you risk losing those projects when major updates happen
