Pattern pacx File

I just realized; when I create a pattern file (pacx) from a project (zprj), I lose all definition I gave before to the pattern pieces what fabric or material they are (shell, lining, marker, contrast etc.) and the pattern pieces can not be placed in the pattern layout separately according to the used fabric.

That is somehow inconvenient. Am I doing it wrong, or do I miss something?

Would be great if you are looking into this.

  It is working as intended. If you want to save a garment only, you might want to try the ZPAC format instead.

  So how is it intended? What is the use of the pacx file commonly?
