Bug in ORDER
Bring Forward and Bring Backward, does nothing
-
Hi kuoture
This is not a bug. Send Back/Front will send the selected pattern piece to the very top or very bottom. But send Forward/Backward will just go one pattern piece "layer" forward or backward.
So for example if you have 10 pattern pieces and you want to send the 10th created pattern piece behind the 5th pattern piece created you would have to send backward 5 times to go "back" 5 layers. This is very similar to how Ai or Ps layers work. The most recent patterns are on top and older ones are on the bottom

Yes I understand that theoretically. But it is not doing it with several patterns

Hi kuoture
You may have to bring forward dozens of times if you have dozens of pattern pieces. It may be easier to just use Bring to Front/Back

Hi CLO Designer, thrust me, I use it with three or four pattern pieces. And I can tell by logic it is not doing what you would expect it to do.
If you want your program to become pattern maker friendly look into it.

Hi kuoture
Please send us a screen recording of the bug as the tool is working as expected on our end and we cannot reproduce the bug

How about you send a screen recording of how it is working on your end. Maybe that is more productive.

Hi kuoture,
Please take note of our forum's guidelines: https://support.clo3d.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/20605433208729-CLO-Community-Guidelines
We understand users are not privy to what our tech support and developers require to detect and fix problems. Therefore, let us elaborate on bug reports: When we ask for videos, images, project files, etc., we are not asking for "proof" or are in disbelief of our users. We are asking for these files so that we can gather as much detail as possible on the environment in which the issue occurs. We do need to know under which circumstances they happen and if we cannot replicate it, there is nothing we can hand in to tech support.
We still cannot reproduce the issue: https://we.tl/t-WJyPF8bBCr

Hi Clo Designer, We misunderstand here a lot.
Please make a video report of how that issue is working on your side. I think we learn more from that, instead of watching tasks wrongly done, maybe.
It is also going to be very hard to showcase that I press the mouse and NOTHING happens. That is hard to show in a video...
I have no time nor equipment to create time-consuming video documentations of bugs of your program. I think I help already a lot by taking the time reporting it here.

maybe there exists a tutorial for that task already

Hi kuoture,
The WeTransfer link posted above is of a video, just recorded, using the function.
