How to hang a pair of pants on a hanger with clips in 3D CLO?

You can use the tack to avatar (clothes hanger) and that will create two invisible threads (you can adjust the thread length in the property editor) and points on your garment to avatar to grip the cloths hanger in the correct placement. That will ensure your item hangs where you want it, then simply close the clips to a point where the garment sits just in between. It's the tack to avatar that does the work and closing the clips is purely a 'faux' (fake) visual effect.

TIP - You may need to locally reduce the mesh distance on the cost hanger clips and garment such that there are more vertexes in the mesh > this makes the cloth simulate better when coming into collision with small surface (clip) areas.

    Hey Ottoline,

Thank you very much for your comment! it's really heplfull!

Do you know the fastest way to flatten pants before put it up on the hanger? I spend much time on making it flat and still can't get the sides of waisband lie evenly.

    Thank you in advance!

There was a flat folded shirt block in in the configuration, for folded display shirts, that would be how I attack that project by making a set of Bounding volumes that work for the coat hanger and pants (using the modulator), then everything is a couple of clicks. I will look at that for you maybe tomorrow.
